Experience history where it happened and make a visible contribution to international understanding and peace: that's what the German-Polish work camp in Costermano and Cassino is all about.

Together with young people from Germany and Poland, you will explore the history of World War II at two central European memorial sites. Workshops, guided tours, and discussions with experts bring the past to life and show its significance for the present.

At the same time, you will carry out hands-on work at the war gravesites, contributing to the preservation of these authentic sites. The joint tasks create a strong sense of community and open up space for exchange on responsibility, remembrance, and peace.

Intercultural encounters, learning together, and making a concrete contribution to preserving European remembrance culture—all this combines to make this work camp a special experience.

• Costermano (Northern Italy: maintenance work and workshops at the German war graves cemetery
