The Against Forgetting project wants to motivate young people to become involved against forgetting of war crimes, and to engage for understanding, remembrance and democracy. The Youth Ambassadors Against Forgetting will share their knowledge with their peers, reach them in activities where history is explored, and thus point out the connections between remembrance and European values. 

The foundation of the Ambassadors Network will take place from July 22 to 24, 2026, in Ysselsteyn, the Netherlands. 80 young people will come together - participants of the Against Forgetting youth exchanges, young people that saw the exhibition, and others interested.
